Holocaust Memorial Day The United Kingdom Government has declared that the 27th January will hence forth be Holocaust Memorial Day in commemoration of millions of people who died during the course of the Genocide conducted by Hitler and the Nazis from 1933. The official UK list of the groups selected for 'special treatment' includes Homosexuals, Black Germans, Gypsies, Communists etc. There is no mention of the fact that 80,000 Freemasons were gassed or executed by other means simply because they were Freemasons. Therefore, whilst we all (I am sure) applaud the government's initiative we are disappoint that the only group omitted from the official list is Freemasonry. |
